Colposcopy Leep
Performed after a colposcopy leep procedure removes the abnormalities caused by human papillomavirus though the human papilloma virus itself cannot be removed from the organism.
This procedure has about a 75-80% success rate. This treatment is designed to remove the areas that are abnormal on the cervix. The Loop electrosurgical excision procedure is recommended in some cases as a cervical treatment when abnormal cells have been found on the cervix.
